| Morillon along with Flaine, Les Carroz, Samoens
and Sixt, make up the Grand Massif, one of the greatest skiing
domains in France. With 77 lifts covering 265km of slopes culminating
at 2500m with spectacular views of Mont Blanc, the area provides
for every level of skier or snowboarder. |

Morillon 1100m

The lift at Morillon is about 500m from the chalet. Just
along from the lift is Rols Sports shop where you can hire
all of your ski equipment with a 20 per cent reduction plus
ski lockers available.
The town of Samoens is a short drive away.
The Grand Massif Express telecabine reaches Samoens 1600
in just 8 mins. Vercland lift is a few minutes drive up the
mountain. Both have free parking and rarely any queues. |
Within 30-40 minutes drive you can also ski the Portes
du Soleil (Morzine, Le Gets, Avoriaz) and the Chamonix valley
.
Ski schools are available for all ages at Morillon and Samoens.

and good fun. Open during the day and evenings
Weekly torchlight descents, concerts and children's activities
are all part of the entertainments provided in Morillon
Ski passes are reasonably priced in comparison to many resorts. |
| Activities for Children |
| At Morillon 1100, the children's village 'Village des Enfants',
provides care for children ages 6 months to 10 years by the
hour, half day or full day. Skiing tuition is available from
age 3/4 when they start them off in their wonderful snow garden. |
At Samoens 1600 the Jardin des Neiges provides care and

For those not interested in Winter sports there is still
a lot to do in the area; traditional villages to explore with
shops, restaurants and markets.
Great days out; Geneva with
Lac Leman, the beautiful medieval town of Yvoire; Chamonix
and the mountain train to Montenvers with a lovely restaurant
and cable car to the ice caves - the list goes on.
